Andreas Svensson 1969-2003.



For his fans Andreas Svenson was best known as a vital and beloved part of Rare Zombie,
a collective of comic artists from Örebro, Sweden, for which he contributed various horror
comics and drawings. He was also a popular artist of record and cassette sleeves,
catalogue illustrations, posters and t-shirts. All done with impressive detail and dedication.

During the time just before Andreas left we were in the midst of producing his own
website. It was not his first, but it was to be the best and he was very anxious to get
it just right. However, the work sadly halted before it could be finished.

When doing this site we have tried to keep it as close as possible to Andreas own wishes,
as well as hoping to display and preserve to the world the unique style of a drawing artist
in full control of his craft, if not of his personal life. His too early departure has left a big
hole in our hearts but he will live forever in our minds through his art and through the
memories he gave us. He may have left, but he isn't gone.
