What is it?
Making the long story short this site is the continuation of
the since long defunct Swedish Violent Vision magazine
(1994-2001). Some of the older material is drawn from there
as well as from some other publications and thrown together
with newly written material.

What's the point?
The only real purpose for this site is to entertain. And
perhaps that the collected reviews (and other stuff) will
somehow sometime eventually make a useful reference
source of some kind for some people. In any case, this is
not really supposed to be an internet magazine, so please
don't expect one.

Why so much stuff, yet no Exorcist or Shining?
This is not a complete movie guide. I like all sorts of movies.
The trash movies and the classic horror movies, they all
have their place, but there's enough written about the
classics elsewhere. I have also tried to give space to smaller
titles and TV-movies that aren't written so much about
elsewhere.

Why no Hong Kong-stuff? No spaghetti westerns?
Hong Kong movies, or Asian movies in general, are not
included beause there are so many others who write about
that so much better (and more initiated). The same goes
for spaghetti western. Maybe in another life.

Why is your English so weird?
Because being a Swedish citizen English is not my first
language. I have tried to write as grammatically correct as
possible but sometimes it maybe gets a little weird. Please
have patience.

Why so few pictures?
I have chosen to minimize the amount of pictures because
it is too much work and they tend to take too much space.
After all, it's the text that matters.

Who are You to tell me what to like?
No one is telling anyone what to like and no one is telling
any truths. This is not a Bible. The individual views
expressed, unless stated otherwise, are subjective
opinions only and should be taken as such. And perhaps
be reflected upon in order to form an idea of your own.
And, no, one don't have to make movies in order to have
an opinion about movies in public text. Always remember
(and keep repeating): it's just movies.

So what's your idea of a good movie?
Jaws. Or The Thing. Or The Others. Or The Fog. Or Redneck
Zombies.

Can I steal your stuff?
Only if you ask first (especially if you're from VIPCO).

Do you sell anything?
No.
