Wolf Creek
Australia 2005. Director: Greg McLean
Cast: John Jarratt, Cassandra Magrath, Andy McPhee, Kestie Morassi

Two backpacking girls and a dude are stuck in the middle of the Australian desert with a broken car. As if out of nowhere comes a helpfull crazy redneck and before the trio can say "Crocodile Dundee-land" they wake up tied and beaten in some shabby farmhouse. Old-fashioned hyper-stylish, gruesome and realistic psycho-slasher, allegedly "based on a true story", with lots of sadistic violence and pitch-black country atmosphere. Didn't like it, though. It's depressing, pointless, definitely not for the easilly offended and it's been done before.
