Tremors 3: Back
To Perfection
USA
2002. Director: Brent Maddock
Cast: Michael Gross, Susan Chuang, Shawn Christian, Ariana Richards

Oh, so you thought Tremors 2 was pretty
fair? Well, forget about most of that for this third part. The underground
worms, the graboids, are back after 11 years in absence and the town
of Perfection is now a theme-park for tourists. The solution is once
again spelled Burt Gummer, the obsessed survivalist played by a Michael
Gross who seem to enjoy himself more than he should be aloud to. He's
the main reason why Tremors 3 still has a few moments of fun
and the only reason why you should see it even if you like the previous
parts. The monster effects are mostly animated this time (tragically
lame) and the film is way too overlong. There's one show-stopping highlight,
though, where Gummer is swallowed whole by a graboid and survives. Did
I mention that the graboids can also fly this time?
