Blood Delirium
Italy
1988. Director: Sergio Bergonzelli
Cast: John Philip Law, Gordon Mitchell, Brigitte Christensen

A stupid stinker about a pretentious painter
who after his beloved wife have died discover he can now only paint
with young dead girl's freshly tapped blood, because "blood is the color
of life". To his help he has an old necrophiliac who kidnaps girls from
the village for the purpose. Blood Delirium is nothing but a
waste of time. It has no atmosphere, no style and it's absolutely not
sexy, although they try very hard. Shot in Rome but it looks like Budapest
or Prague and plays like someone has put the actors up front, pointed
the camera in their direction and left to cash in the check. Yet the
frisky performers, especially John Philip Law, seem to enjoy this more
than they perhaps should have. Almost unwatchable. Avoid.
