Apocalypse Sexual

This idiotic flick seem to have some kind of cult following but it's hard to see why. It has a guy named Antonio who likes to put his stiletto up the girl's you know what. So he kidnaps a rich girl (Katy Ballard) and tries to blackmail her parents. For some reason I didn't get (they all talked Spanish on this tape) he then puts his stiletto up Ajita Wilson's faked you know what and then another guy, Riccardo, comes in and kills everyone and finally makes love to the kidnapped girl one last time before the cops arrives (or at least on the soundtrack). Most of the film's running time is stuffed with ultra boring hardcore action and pumping genetalia in extreme close-up. I may sound like an old bag, but what's the point in showing endless close-ups on unrecognizable body parts? In any case, the direction is so bad it is sometimes hard to see what it is going on anyway, because Carlos Aured shows aboslutely no interest in creating anything erotic. Judging by this film his talent consists of little more than pointing the camera in the right direction, i.e the place with most nudity. The film is, or should be, notably only for the appearence of Lina Romay who does some stuff your mother don't want you to see, although nothing really special. The version reviewed here was mercifully short at only 68 minutes and supposedly uncut, but even at that short length it's a pathetic load of sleaze from a director down on his luck. Aured was once one of the pioneers of Spanish horror with Horror Rises From the Tomb etc, but who could tell. Apocalypse Sexual is recommended only for people who must have everything.
