The alien-girly from Species arrives to a small town to wipe out the owner of a bookshop who has stolen money from the mob. But, unfortunately, not many space monsters around here. Only hit-men, mobsters and treacherous women. It's a pretty neat film-noir, though, with some cool characters and unexpected twists, nicely edited by someone who has watched Steven Soderbergh's Underneath or The Limey (also with Peter Fonda in a similar role as the bad guy) too many times. Deserves a look.
